tailgate glass stuck

hi all

here is the problem. The rear tailgate glass will not wind down and the door unlock. Tried the re calibration trick, door will open but glass still will not move down, fitted new relay no luck. Still stuck up!. With a meter in the back of the motor plug get a momentary 12V then nothing. Any ideas?

PS haveing done the re calibration door lock now works but window still does move.

window regulator, spares on e bay, easy fix

What you mean the kits at £25 with the glue, except the glue doesnt stick properly.
Get yourself a bicycle brake cable and make a lug on the end out of solder, lead or crimped piece of copper. You will need to dismantle the regulator to see the problem

actually meant the full regulator then get a garage to fit it, don't get much easier than that

what then pay £160 for the regulator plus labour, not exactly easy on the wallet.
