Re: SRS light on dash stays on
you really are a touchy sum bitch ! it has been known on this forum for some individuals to lose sight of the fact the vehicle may be under warranty. all that was being said was if you have recently aquired the vehicle, do you have any recourse to whoever sold it to you.
however, from the tone of your "Not here to discuss how I aquired the Freelander either" reply, you won't be needing it anyway as you seem to be riding your high horse as an alternative means of transport.
hope you get your problem sorted in the end

Optimus ok maybe some people do lose sight they have vehicle under warranty! I don't have a warranty in this case, and I didn't want that bloke Mad whatever getting all on my case about how I got the car - lets face it these threads don't exactly stay on topic. No offence meant to you (that comment was not directed at you).
Thanks for posting your resonse to my original query.
jeez its a bit like walking on glass in this forum.

Re: SRS light on dash stays on
FFS, Sorcha - you are a touchy ickle bugger - aint ya? Chill out and relax - so you made a poor buying decision. 1 cos you have a freelander with no warranty and 2 coz you bought a motor with faults without understanding the implications - nevva a good move, put them both together and its a recipe for disaster.
You have had good advice on here, from checking the under seat stuff, to a match. Here is a bit more for you, easily obtained by looking at the Rave manual which can be downloaded free from links on this site, and many others. I aint worried if you dont have a warranty - it aint my money, after-all, however one should always start with the simple things, and taking it back is the simplest and first thing to think of - you could have saved Slob having to think by telling us that you have no warranty in post 3, rather than a page later.
second rule of asking for help is give as much information as possible.
third rule is try and help others to help you - not give them agro.
