Rubber Gaiter For IRD Prop-shaft

Hi Guys and Girls,

I need a new rubber gaiter for the 'CV' type joint where the front to back prop shaft come out of the IRD.

According to my local small independent local garage, this gaiter is only available from Land rover with a new prop-shaft at about £300.

Any idea where is can get a replacement gaiter ?

how bad is your gaiter - one of the tricks is to superglue it together if its only got a small split - else £300 lighter .

Its in lots of little bits on the M5.

either lots of glue or try a breakers!!

probably not hard to spot either eh?

should have plenty of time whilst he's stood on the hard shoulder waiting for recovery to spot them
