Hi all sorry not been on here for a while no internet,

As said my rear diff mount's keep failing I have replaced 3-sets in 18 months getting costly. does anybody have any ideas as to why it might be happening. I have also replaced the VCU and prop bearings but still the rear diff mounts keep failing . Also I have quite a rattle sounds' like the old heat shields on an exhaust checked it but not that, incidentally If I really gas it the metallic rattle goes away.

Cheers all

Why not replace the diff mounts-especially the front with Polyurethane. It will last far longer than the rubber type.
Regarding the VCU mounts, the rubber compound is not as good on the cheaper types plus they are fitted with low quality bearings which will cause premature failure of the rubber surround due to the additional torsion being placed on the rubber when the bearing starts to seize or become stiff. I am certain that the bearing performance plays an important part in failure of the rubber surround.
