Hi
Just replaced the rear nearside window regulator on my FL1. When refitting the door trim the pop up button dropped off into the door cavity. I recovered it but I cannot see where it fits on the door lock. its a plastic pop up button with bent rod attached with a small hooked end. Where does that hook to? Any help welcome or a link to a diagram or manual.

It hooks into the latch mechanism .. It's one of those things that won't come out or go in if you want it to. But falls out when you don't.......!

Difficult to describe where it fits......sorry

take the cover off the other door and can see how it fixes on

hope that helps

Somehing like this help at all?

That Pic might help me my door button goes down but dose not go up looks like maybe no7 is worn do you have the pic with part numbers where did it come from

Number 7 is a plastic clip. It either ok or broken. If the door locks but doesn't unlock you need a new lock mechanism. Item 6...

The picture is from microcat - the parts program LR uses.

The door lock works but the button only goes down have to use key to get it up so some linkage is worn somewhere

If the door locks but won't unlock automatically with the central locking. The lock mechanism has failed. They have a pair of motors inside them one that locks the other that unlocks....... The unlocking one has failed.

It is a common problem. The freelander I bought as a project and sold on had the same issue.
