Hi there i have a 02 freelander 3dr 1.8es. I was wondering if any1 could help me? I am really wanting to "lift it" and was wondering what the best is? I have heard that 2inchs is the biggest lift I can do is that correct? And also once I have fitted the lift kit what are the biggest tyres I can fit without it affecting on road performance to badly? If any1 could help that would be amazing!
Thanks
Joey

lift kit, camber correction pins and 205/80 R15 tyres

some have 225/75 R15 etc plus spacers or worn rubbed arches!!!

taller tyres are ok but any hill starts or climbing will be hard on the clutch as the gear ratios will be all to cock.

personally i havent got wheel spacers and im really 50/50 on fitting em. Have a search through some old threads from peeps who have various sizes and fiited spacers. but off the top of my head 225/75 will need spacers to clear the suspension cup thing! 15mm or 20mm at least.
