I actually wanted to paint the arches and bumpers matt black, but the car paint shop guy talked me into the satin black, lol.

The paint on the arches and bumpers is holding up very well.

I'll post some pictures when I at home as we are on holiday at the moment in Saint Agnes.

Drivers side brake caliper seized up for the second time at Christmas.

Fitted new calipers, caliper guid kit, disc's and pads from Famous Four.

Also got a new GKN VCU and support bearings to fit, but first I want to fix a long on going problem with the pesky tailgate.


I did my speaker covers the other day exactly the same, there a company on eBay selling leather handle covers also as mine are tatty I think I'll spend the 20 quid and get some as I can't seem to find any black ones in good order..

Yeah I think the speaker grills look better in black, I've still got to do the rears.

I'd be interested to know what you think of those door handle covers when you get them, may purchase a set if you think they are ok.
 
Well just returned back from weeks holiday to Saint Agnes in Cornwall. We covered 820 miles and from what I've calculated she's done 39 mpg and never missed a beat the whole journey, well happy with my Freelander.
