Yes works fine. Only a tiny little problem of a crack near the threads where I over tightened it. Whoops! It needed taking off to weld it properly then my engine blew so I got both engine and gearbox. It has been sitting in my shed ever since just waiting repair.

As said I don't know whether it would be good enough for winu but it's there if he needs it

Any news?

Yip, as Simon said. They probably kill gearbox, new HD clutch, new relase bearing is noisy now. Clutch cylinder is damaged too.
Also, workshop try to hide  a problem and fill my PG1 with some shi$@!$ thicker oil, and now i got serious problems with changing gears.

They don't flat fly wheel, HD clutch has larger friction plates and this is probably the reason of whole damage. Also when replacing prop bearings (new GKNs) something is wrong and i got vibrations.

Police were present when taking my car out from them  .

Now my car is in my friends garage, they need to remove gearbox, do a good inspection and let me know about damages. But for 90% gearbox is wrecked, so i start to searching an replacment, and i would like to do a good overhaul in U.K. (steel caged bearings , seals ect.). I need to buy something on place and rebuild it in your country. Doing this here is worthless.

Gearbox is PG1 S7EMU for L-series diesel MY'2000 (1999-12-13). Kizzeh please let me know about price, and could you post a photo of damage?

The worst thing is that they build this car and care about it since 2009...
I don't know why they do it so bad. In worst scenario my loss is 1300 GBP, and they take 340 as workshop labour.
But i got all invoices so we meet in court soon.

This is a terrible feeling when somebody try to destroy years of your hard work. :( . I left them a good shaped, detailed car with new parts for 600 GBP. (they build it with me for all those years) and they break it down.
I'm very sad now, miss my hippo, and feel as someone butcher my best friend.

Final news should be on Monday/Tuesday
Simon found for me a new gearbox with 2 yrs warranty and new IRD in U.K in reasonable price. - THANKS!!
So now we waiting for garage opinion, and if needed shipping bits to Poland ASAP.

So, new IRD is on the way... Mine is rubbish now...

That great workshop filled mi PG1 with 5 Liters of Oil

and my clutch looks like this - thank god i drive it only 25 km to second workshop:

Guys from second workshop said that clutch can be saved, as it not have very much damage. They send my flywheel with plate and cover to flat and fit them together and should be fine.

Clutch bearing is destroyed.

Also i ask them to clean and lubricate clutch fork and lever in PG1, this is how they done it:

So probably Pg1 is in good condition - we put new fork with new lever, shims and other things.
Also i got damaged gear change rod - they try to put gears by force.

Now i got better guys i think - they done for me a few smaller things and those work fine, so should take care of it properly.

The "specialist" who f$#!ed up clutch job build my car since 2009, so 5 yrs of cooperation... so it was "trusted"

New IRD is on the way :D . Thanks Simon (SES88) for good and quick action with all of that :bounce:

If all goes well my car should be back on road on the end of next week

IRD was delivered today ;D - Thanks Simon and Mansfield 4x4 (Bury St Edmunds) Ltd
Now we waiting for package from Duncan and Britcar Ltd,. This one contains gearbox and clutch mechanism parts
Also got second hand gear rod. That bunch of idiots damage it too :frusty:, and it cant be repaired as gearbox side have massive backslashes...
Clutch is in local bespoke clutch specialist. It will be tested, flywheel will be flatten and all components matched to be ensure of proper work.

So everything is on a good way :)
But i look at my car only on garage photos... since 4 weeks

But he's got a nice company - Range Rovers and Disco 3 & 4 , so probably it isn't so sad like his owner

That is a past tense now  :D .
Not a secret that, previous workshop fault cost me around 2K now.
