Newbie needing assistance !!! TD4 !!!

Hi guy's just a little update on my TD4 ! I had my mechanic do a leakback test on the injectors......I think we may just have solved the problem...
All we have to do now is remove the faulty injector a lot easier said than done......!!!!!! Has anybody near Tamworth in Staffordshire got a tool that will remove the injector ??

Just spoke again to my mechanic hes just on way to buy a kit for himself for removing these injectors £300 !!!

wit is not very often the injectors will not come out on the td4 but I am sure I have seen them cheap or I would have come up with something to get it out.

He had got a set somewhere but he couldn't find it ! so seeing as he's a diesel mechanic....he thought he'd better buy a new kit lol Hopefully that will be the Engine sorted Then it's on to new boots and recon vcu

When we had our last meet of the year on the R75 club, a member whom attended had to change of his injectors and at the time was informed by another member to unplug the crankshaft wiring, loosen the two bolts either side of the injector and crank the car over, because it will not start due to unplugging the crankshaft plug it would pop up the injector helping it to remove easy it worked a treat, but I would be wary of trying it myself, any way good luck with your problem cheers Arctic2
