Default New sunroof glass

I'm looking to buy a new replacement glass for my freelander sunroof as the old one is rotten and leaky can anybody recommend where I can get one as cheap as possible

Glass doesn't rot. Do you mean the front o/s and n/s corners of the frame ? Replacing the glass will not stop any leaks.

I know glass doesn't rot but the frame its bonded onto does! so if I get a new glass it will come the frame attached to it! lol

Is it the 5 door L series you have?

Partnumber for the glass is: EFT100390 SUPERCEDED by EFT500070

lol Ive already messaged that one on ebay to ask if he any decent ones but he hasn't! The famous four one looks ok I might get one next payday all being well

I have just ordered a new one for my 5 door 2004 today, cost 123 new, inc vat and delivery....cheapest around trust me, I have looked.
if you haven't got one yet I can tell you where.

was it as easy as undoing the side bolts then just replacing the roof glass and redoing the bolts up ? also did it stop the leaks more importantly..

Hi Allen.
Yes undo the bolts lift out the old sunroof glass/frame and drop new one in nip up the bolts once in place tighten them up, no more leaks

great news....I will have a go when it arrives then, expensive but worth it in the long run as I am keeping this one.
