Hi
The time of year came round again very quickly this year and the old girl went in for her yearly mot and she passed again with no advisories that is three years on the trot.

("I will be taking the car next week")just joking:lalala:

Good day for MOTs - I got an advisory on the handbrake but very happy with that as no prep done .

Do you guys enjoy being smug?.....:) (Joke)

Way to go on both. I reckon my old 1.8 will be a good girl next year (famous last words!) :)

A pass is always good - if it comes with no cost in time or £££s it's even better ;) Fuel tank cradle on both are a worry but have a cunning plan involving steel strip and a big bit of 6mm ali sheet to cope with that one ....

Smug ? - dunno bowt that - pleasantly surprised for sure !

my wife's 1998 1800 passed it just needed a bush in the trailing arm
my 2006 passed but a couple of advisories one was the fuel tank cradle I though he was kidding until I took a look one of the plates on it is rotting away but the wife's is ok I will fix it before next years MOT.

Same as mine 2000 reg cradle not too bad but 2005 reg the tubes have lost the bottom half in places , plates are ok though ??..

Front mounts look to be easy to get to and rear of cradle still in good condition so hope to tie the two together with strip and the ali plate .
