Lack of power and poor running.

I have a problem with lack of power and poor running (especially when idling in traffic when the engine warning light comes on and the engine transfers to limp home mode). I have looked at all the treads oand will be applying the advise offered. I will up date progress -hopefully to a successful conclusion!!) The truck (a 2003 TD4) is not my daily driver so progress will be slower than normal!!! but heavily researched!!!

First thing to do is get codes read by the proper kit.
