Default jerking Freelander

My Freelander 1999 1.8 manual is jerking when driving, so badly that it is undrivable. Whitout prop shaft it drives perfectly all right. I thought my VC is seized, so I changed it with a new one but it is still jerking, how can I test the diff or the IRD unit?
