Inverters for on board power

They are banned here and I don't think I would like it myself, getting away from fumes and noise is the whole idea lol. The trailer will make a perfect platform for the power units and it's a useful camping thing too I might fit a small water tank on it and a pull out awning over the top as it has a hinged lockable lid

A nice little 4 stroke generator in the trailer. .job done....run a toaster on it, do the ironing, watch tv etc...and no car batteries to worry about charging. ..thats what I would do.

My local ALDI is currently selling 240v 850w 2-stroke petrol generators for £60..... should run a toaster or a small travel kettle.

I truly am a great believer in solar power.
Our beach shack is comply off grid, I was given a generator 2.8 kW 4 stroke, we used about £5 a day of fuel in it, but everyone have to switch it off at 22:00 due to noise. So you still have to have batteries for the rest of the night and morning.
In the end I spent a few hundred on 2 x 80watt solar panels and haven't used the generator in 2 years. The solar and batteries keep the interplace in "free" power.

Solar panels are ideal and I will get some to keep the batteries in good shape and topped up I'm going to re build the trailer and modify it to take all my kit for fishing/camping water tank and 12 power with an inverter.
