you can take the prop off and just two wheel drive it, till you get the vcu sorted, two wheel mode [mondo mode] is ok go's like er rockit. . . .

oh dear - it'll be hand-cuffs and ball gag next! Watch out for the nipple clamps!!

On a serious note I don't think there's any max length of time that you can run it like that - although it's debatable as to whether you'd be covered insurance wise if the worst were to happen.....

....Then she'd really bring out the punishment tools!

hi thank u i am now typing from the cage help so if i need to replace the vcu damper do i need to remove the vcu completely och och och

just take the prop orf quick. If yu want to - take orf the VCU anorl - then yu can fix it at yo leisure.

I took off my complete propshaft (front and rear) and VCU and been driving mondo mode 2 years now (50 000km) no problem. I let insurance know, and it is noted as such on my policy, so I am covered. Then you can drive and decide to fix when it suits you. Just remember you are now driving a front wheel drive vechicle and not a 4 x 4, so handling will be different, especially in wet weather. Not a problem where I live, as it hardly ever rains here.
