wished to quickly report back regarding why I couldn't get any heat after installing a new heater matrix
after ensuring the matrix hoses under the bonnet where both getting hot and vented i moved on throughout the system
found the heater cable had come out of its clip and thus stopping heat from coming into the car
to get to the left hand side red cable
put the passenger seat right back
remove the consentina tubing between the ac box and fan
with a torch , look up under the passenger side footwell and u will see a red cable attatched to the heater matrix box,
im going to glue the clip that is attached to the cable in the next few days
just wished to advise u don't need to take out the centre console in order to get to the heater control cables
hopefully may help someone one day
