hi
car failed its mot yesterday because 1 of the tyres has a cut in excess of the requirements
ok so I can change the tyre no problem
but I ve got Michelin syncronones fitted all round and i know you cant get these anymore
so if anyone has any 215 65 16 syncros for sale please or know where there might be some it would be appreciated
I don't really wanna mix and match tyres for obvious reasons and I ve just fitted an new vcu and prop not long ago
or could I just put 2 new different make tryes on the back would that be ok any help much appreciated

Worth keeping an eye on Ebay for some, I sold a brand-new Synchrone on there some time back.
My wife's Freelander needed new tyres and as the Synchrone wasn't available any more I bought a set of five Hankook Ventus and sold the un-used Michelin spare for a very good price. It had lived under the cover all its life and was in un-marked condition. Seen others on there as well.

For information, the Hankook's have been an excellent tyre and well worth considering if you go for a full set.

yeah I saw that good price as well even with postage but its got a lot more tread than the others on my car was worried about vcu

I have 2 syncrones in one of my garages I will check the tyre depth and let you know tomorrow I had them taken off for same reason could not get any more so I had latitudes all round. where about's are you.

Dam I sorted the tyre's out but then I had a brain way what size are your's the one's I have are 225 55 17 an d will not fit your wheels sorry [/ATTACH][/ATTACH] these are the tyres I noticed one had a slight rubbing on one side (out) by the other owner the depth's on them are both the same around 5/6 mm
