hi all
Sorry to duplicate thread but the other one was kinda going off topic :)
I'm having a fuel cut (or what feels like one.very severe judder)when i'm trying to hold speed at approx 2300-2500 rpm in all gears. It only happens when your on very light throttle. If you accelerate or hold at higher rpm (pedal depressed more) it doesnt happen. It sounds like its trying to stall.
The injectors and fuel filter have been replaced. Would it be a fuel pump issue. They both sounds normal when priming but i can hear the one in the arch from inside the car with the doors and windows closed when its priming. Is it meant to be that loud?Could that be the problem?
Sorry folks but i'm 900 quid in with the cost of injectors and garage fees and want to try and do stuff myself to save costs a bit.

Thanks as always.

I take its a facelift td4 , the L P pump hums on turning the ignition on , which is normal , any warning light showing ? my first thought was the maf sensor , that can cause stalling , what else has been checked ?

£900 quid in and the fault is still there??? OMG why did they change the injectors? If the garage diagnosed the fault and it wasn't that then you shouldn't be shelling out for injectors! No wonder mechanics get a bad name!

No its a 2003 td4. Apparantly they thought it was a fuel related issue so started with the injectors. They were flow tested and found t be in a bad way so would have to be replaced at some stage.Oh andn o warning lights or anything on the diagnostics
They checked the crank breather and a diagnostic. I rang and they said drop it back but they dont know whats wrong and i'll be charged for thenext set of labour for investigating it. Really annoyed. I changed the fuel filter myself so thats new too. I tried spraying teh cleaner on the MAF but that just caused a different problem :( Still juddering away at constant speed
