My Freelandee is an 03 gas. The gas gage reads upside down. Ive already read online here that the problem might be the sender unit wires. So i switxhed them but they are still the same. Any help please.

are you on the other side of the equator?

if so that is the problem. LR calibrated to work only on this side ( Just the same as water draining the other way round the plug hole like) , on tuesdays oh and it has to be raining

You two are being ridiculous. It's because he's driving whilst standing on his head. OP, if you use your feet to push the pedals rather than your hands you'll find that the gauge should then read fine. If not then your eyes are the wrong way around and I'm afraid you'll need to see a doctor for that

it is american and forgot to put the u in gauge, lol

could be a faulty sender unit or a faulty ground

I agree that we did some funny things to YOUR language, but maybe YOU shouldn't have "colonized" us, in the first place? ;)

We still spell "gauge" the "right" way, but what's up with the unnecessary "U" in "COLOR"? :your_wrong:

And what in the world is wrong with that!!!? Our "forefathers" got drunk one night, and decided to kick some ass. It escalated into a war, and they called the Frogs to help, they kicked you out, and commemorated the night they thought about the "revolution", with the only song that brought the good memories!

:):):), u had the sense to get away, were left with the bloody eu, lol

plus all the French guns when sold were marked , fired once dropped once when they ran, lol

u love us Brits really,

we were just taking the micky that is all...

that was the point of the fred right?

we made the assumption of you being from the dark side of the pond based on your use of the term gas... which as far as I am aware is pretty much free over here - dependent on what i have eaten today of course.

I searched and cannot find the sender. Unless the SENDER is being referred as the fuel pump assembly in a whole?

fuel sender unit is the float inside ur fuel tank

have u tested the ohms resistance

Sender Unit Resistance in Ohms = Nominal Gauge Reading
503 ohms = Empty
413 ohms = Low fuel level illumination
302 ohms = Half full
135 ohms = Full

or have u got a faulty fuel gauge
