Fuel filter location help

Hi folks,

I'm having a bit of an issue locating my fuel filter and selecting the correct replacement. My freelander in 2003 td4 VIN 3A278934 if that helps.

As far as I know there are only two types. Either under the bonnet or under O/S rear wheel arch. If it's not under the bonnet (easy to find) then it's......
Under bonnet looks like normal filter, other is a sealed metal tube type.
If you phone LR dealer they'll tell you.

No sign of it anywhere under the bonnet. Must be the wheel arch type. Cheers

After 2002 they moved to the rear arch even though mine 2002 late mine is also at the rear too. Check on rimmers bros website craddocks paddocks for the servicing kit this show a long tube type. If you are replacing there are instructions available on the site.
