My V6 does averaged 19.04 mpg over the last 1500 miles which I mostly my semi urban commute. If only it had a manual gearbox !!

just did a brim-up after 300 mile using the 'eco2' synergy switch setting ..
45.94 mpg :) .. .. ( 'switch' resides in engine bay .. yet to route it thru to cab )

as compared to 40 mpg using the number '9' synergy setting
( eco switch not connected .. )

same routes .. same driving style .. winter air-temps ..

first time i'd used that dash-switch since fitting the pierburg maf ..
wasn't too happy with it .. drivability-wise .. when i tried it with the prev. bosch maf

I have been using the "fuel log" app to work this out over a few months.
TD4 2004 5 door se with 109k on it
the first 2 months i got 25.01 mpg all town driving and very small journeys (most less than 10 miles)

I then changed the crankcase breather and fitted an egr bypass and the next 2 months came back at 27.73 mpg with the same driving conditions.

Im pretty happy with that considering my commute is 5 miles and most journeys are really short.

Would a synergy box increase this much??

Problem I found after fitting the Synergy is that you use the extra power as it becomes nicer to drive which resulted in an increase in fuel used.

Thats an interesting point, i'd not thought aboout the milometer being out.
I know speedo is slightly off, cos when i go through Harley theres one of them speed signs and its shows about 3-4 mph less than my speedo.

Speedos tend to read slightly high, if ya using a #### nav on level road you will notice that too will read lower than the speedo by a few mph :D

My ol trusty Escort van was returning around 50 to gallon! could get from Weymouth to Fife on 3/4 of a tank!
sadly just scrapped the piggin thing , great engine crap sills / floor.....
Only just filled up the 110 with added 2 stroke so will monitor what we get, its a NAD motor so not expecting 50 to the gallon :)

26/27 mpg doesn't make any difference whether that's round town or on a motorway. running it on 50/50 veg oil and diesel so average cost £1.20 a ltr.

96 plate 300tdi 110 traccta :D

1.8 petrol, I do 50 miles a day round trip to work, seem go get about 28-30MPG sensible motorway driving.

Dont really use it around town, I make the missus drive me in her little Yaris because then she can pay for petrol! :p

Its a bit of a shock to the system (or should that be wallet?) going from my Vauxhall Astra G that did 55MPG!

XEDI - It's always been between 38.5 and 41.5mpg - more or less 50% town and 50% Motorway driving.. so depends on how bad the traffic was I guess. No mods, all figures worked out by brimming the tank..

A dull post... might be useful to someone though..
