freelander window regulators

hi everyone
the window regulator (pass side) has broken on my freelander
the dealers told me its 90 quid for a new one as u cant just buy the broken cable (common fault apparantly) does anyone know if these can be bought cheaper on an exchange basis or does anyone have one for sale in or near sheffield cheers aidy90

Look on ebay, a set of cables is about 12 quid. They are not hard to replace, perhaps a bit fiddly but once you've done one a piece of kiss. John.

Cables are cheap

A complete regulator and motor can be had for about 30 quid or so........ Pattern part but with 2 year warranty

Looks like you can get them for about £25 on ebay now.

I recently had two replaced, bought the regulator off ebay and took to a local mechanic to fit.
