Freelander Bull Bar Lights and Help Request

LandyZone and all you terrific people.... ( I need some help / advice again )
I've been on the hunt for a little while now for a Bull Bar, and i've found one ( Whooooo ) but it's in chrome - my Freelander is dark blue, and i've seen quite a few ( like the one in the picture attached ) with it in black.

1 ) How easy is it to paint a chrome bull bar black, and is there anyone around who could do it for me? Help me do it etc? I don't want to make it look awful, just anyone who has maybe done this to theirs etc, and could offer me some tips and advice

2) Is there anyone who could help me fit it? I'm in Essex, and normally go up to Norfolk to FreelanderSpecialist, but it's a long way to go just to get a bull bar fitted. Comes with all brackets and what not, so shouldnt be too difficult - again just need someone with the right expertise, whose fitted one before who could help me ( I'm tool'less - as well as clue'less!! )

3) In the picture attached, there are some rather nice looking spot lights which go on the front - could anyone tell me where I could get these from? I've had a look on flebay, and i can't seem to find them exactly like this ( the ones in the pic below ) - I love the black bull bar like in the picture, and i think those spots go very nicely on the front - just wondering if again anyone could point me in the right direction? :argue:

Well - there's 3 questions which i'm putting out there to all you in the know - and just wanted to say thanks again in advance!

hi

ref ur bull at have u got a decent paint shop near u

have u looked on ebay etc as there are quiet a few in there

recently fitted some spots to mine, but wasn't on a bull bar but on the bumper brackets instead , using a land rover wiring loom so it was all plug in and came with all the replays, switches etc

hopefully someone will come along and be more helpful than me with regards to ur bull bars etc

As for the paint, get it shot blasted (then fix the rusty parts you find), then get it powder coated satin black, easy done

Those lights are GEN Safari 3000 lights - you can buy it as extra accessory... but to be honest. For you can buy a lot of better lights for your car.
rimmers got full kit

Wiring is quite easy. Switch, relay, fuse, few meters of wire and terminal crimp tool.
Job for an hour or two :).

They are great starting points!!
They are the Safari 3000 lights!! Ahhh im in bliss now knowing i've found them!
I just really like them - they are expensive - but they are used not just on Freebies, but also on Defenders' and Discovery's - so shouldnt be too difficult to find!
Saw a pair on 'Flea'Bay' that went tonight for around £45 so that's pretty good!

Thanks for the advice regarding lights etc, and wiring - im just very useless!! So i guess i'll have to hope someone can help after the bull has been fitted!!!

Cheers Guys for all your help so far!
