Default Freelander ABS fault code help

Need some advice, other than burn it
Car is a 2005 1.8 petrol

Freelander has brought up a lonely amigo, the HDC warning lights up in amber, and has a code stored C1147 - CAN signal TPS (Error)

I had the live readings checked in both the engine management, and ABS ECU. The engine ECU reads the throttle travel between 0.59v at no throttle, to 4.42v at full throttle.
The ABS ECU reads the throttle angle between 0-100% so it appears that the throttle angle sensor is reading correctly, but the fault will not clear. As soon as it is cleared, the light goes off, and straight back on again.

The rest of the warnings stay off, it is only the HDC that illuminates. The car also drives fine

Anyone have any ideas of what to try? Sounds like it could get quite expensive

I had the same light come on a couple of times after a 6 month layup recently. It could be the throttle pedal switch not making contact. That's what mine was I think but it fixed it's self. The other cause of the single light is an implausible gear, so one of the gear stick switches could be duff.

Throttle pedal switch

The switch on the actual pedal had failed. Fitted a new one and all is good in the hood

Hi,
How did you replace the Throttle pedal switch?
I'm locating it, but can't see where the lead ends up.
I have a 5E13 error, and from the picture I snapped when the T4 was connected, I suddenly realized that the C1147 code was presented as well.
So I'm trying to interchange the switch from another Freelander.

Throttle pedal switch pulls/slides off. Pull the wire oft and swop it over. There's a sticking out bit on the pedal from memory and it pushes/sits against that when operated.

Yabba-dabba-Dooo!
This finally cleared the 5E13 error I've been struggling with for 6 months!
To make it easier for others in the future, I've done some measurement's with the multimeter.
With the ok switch and the messy one...
