Freelander 2 advice please

Hi Folks I am currently looking for a Freelander 2 around 2007/08/09. Because it is likely to be higher mileage, the preference is one with a timing chain as opposed to a belt, however I cant find which models have chains and which have belts, some seem to have chains and some belts, but i'm unsure as to which have which, can anyone please advise? Thankyou

Diesel Freelander 2 all have belts. The Change interval is 150000 miles though

I had an 09 Freelander 2 for a few months last year, a former Police one and was told it had a Chain and when I called Stratstone, they confirmed this! I have also seen somewhere about belts needing changed after 90k miles or 7 years old, whichever comes first. So you can see why im confused!

As stated above all Diesel Freelander 2.2 engines have a timing belt.

The 3.2 petrol doesn't have a timing belt
