Ive got a problem with the clutch peddle, some times after i have depressed the clutch it wont come back up,untill i put my foot behind it and pull it up,i also have to go down a long way befor i make contact with the clutch!!, can anyone help please.

Yep change the hydraulics, slave and master in one,

It is sensible to change the bracket as well at the same time. You can get a complete kit on eBay for less than £50 delivered or you can go genuine for £120....

Hi. Definitely your hydraulic system failed, happened to me a few weeks back travelling down the M5 managed to limp to Torquay, googled the local Motor Factors address, they got me a replacement master/slave cylinder set off the shelf, and fitted it on the side of the road in the industrial estate, took me just over half hour, no tools required. The kit cost me around £80 but I didnt have the luxury of shoppibg around or waiting for parts to be delivered, if you're not in a big hurry to get back on the road there are kits at much more reasonable prices (eBay etc) as mentioned above.
One other thing worth mentioning is that depending on the age of your car your chassis number may be important, there are two different part number options, one for cars pre 2001/2002 and one for later years. Good luck
