FL1 Dampers

Ok, so what dampers/shocks do you lot like to fit, mine are very tired but not sure what to replace them with, ideally I was after and updated damper and HD springs. I have had a little look around the web but nothing that shouts out to me. Thoughts please......

I quite like the standard settings (unworn), it's a good compromise and hard to beat.

Ive also been looking at new dampers and ended up ordering Armstrong shocks earlier today from Trillick Landrover, I think Armstrong may have been the original suppliers to landrover, can anyone confirm that ?. I also noticed that famous four have a good deal on Monroe front shocks.
There's very little info available on freelander shocks, they just seem to last very well. i'm only replacing mine because one has locked solid, rather than weakened.

Delphi were Rovers normal supplier. I suspect that the Freelander also got Delphi shocks, unless BMW found a cheaper supplier of course. Delphi would be my guest though.

mine has Delphi ones fitted, still original ones
