Fitting a Double Dinn GPS/DVD into dash

So what's your plans for the Freelander? Are you changing it to rear seats or leaving as a van, like you say why bother if it's got the wrong panels on?

Totally stuck with Primo???? Should I just give up! Again.

My plans at the mo is sort the clutch.
Just totally went had to limp home without one.
It's loosing fluid fast now
But yes leaving as a van

Fluid!! What engine do you have?

Td4 and I'm loosing fluid badly.
I fitted the master cylinder Saturday and it was ok yesterday. But today I lost the peddle totally today. :'(
So might be a slave and clutch. Which won't be cheap.
But I did knock the bloke down a bit cos of the problem

Managed to change Screen.

Helps when you use a Jpeg format :crazy:

No but my brother inlaw works a landrover garage and said what it might be. We just hoped it was the cheaper thing. At least I've only got to pay for parts and a few drinks
Just gutted cos I need it for work tomorrow!
Plus with the extra outgoing I'll have to wait a bit longer for DVD/sat nav

Not to worry these things aren't as important, get it running then we expect results sometime........ we are watching you!:mil84:

Good one, now you know what to do, see what you can make and put them on here and we'll tell you if you should use it.....

when playing with my unit i never noticed anything mentioned about a start up picture in the settings, maybe it doesnt support one, where in your settings did you set it, or was it through config of the SD card ?

bare in mind, they take 24 hours to reply to each of your emails !

so send one at 9.00 in the morning, 10am you get a reply, send a reply back at 10.15am you dont get a reply to the next morning !

thats why its taken a week to send mine back, 1 email per day


1st day - PLEASE

2nd day- CAN

3rd day - I

4th day - SEND

5th day -THIS

6th day - RUBBISH

7th day - BACK

On my unit You get to the main option screen.
Select last option 'Settings'
if you look on this screen there is a button labeled 'LOGO'

You can either select one of the options or cancel.

To upload your own:
Design FANTASTIC picture - Ensure it is 720x480 pixels
save as a Jpeg
Cover picture file onto an EMPTY usb stick
Change File name to 'LOGO.HKK'
insert into head unit and select USB
after a few seconds you can remove it.
Turn off Head unit
Turn back on and HEY PRESTO! I should have worked

I'm sick of having my finger in!! honestly it's doing me head in, I keep saying I'm not gonna bother, then I start again. Anyhow enough is enough I started about 30 minutes ago:doh:
