Facelift Kit

I see on one of the threads a 2001 Freelander with a facelift similar to a later Freelander.
Does anyone sell a kit? or was it the front end from a later Freelander tacked on?
Whatever it was it looks bloody fantastic.

Yeah, that"s exactly how I want my Freelander to look, except mine is a bloody awful 5 door and I much prefer the 3 door. I"m not worried about the back, I think the rear end of the Freelander is the best looking bit but I would like to fit the later front upgrade with the different headlights etc, plus mine is that awful Silver/Gold colour and if I keep it would like it resprayed ANY other colour!
That facelift, is it a job an old geezer like me could do and what equipment would I need eg: Welder etc? or would I be better off selling it and buying a facelift Freelander.

If you don't like the colour or no. of doors I'd sell it and get one you want! It's not cheap to facelift them and painting can get very pricey

Guess that"s what I"ll do.

As DD said, you are better off selling the 5 door and getting a 3 door. You should do alright as the 5 doors are generally worth a bit more than the 3 door equivalent. I love what DD had done to his, it's one nice looking Freelander !!
