electric window motor

The electric window on my freelander has packed up.
It is the passenger rear window and the cable has snapped.
My question is can i just replace the cable or do i have to buy a new motor.

you can just replace the cable if you wish; this is not a standard service part, but can be ordered from ebay for about £25 all in. If you do a SEARCH on this forum, you will find this subject has been covered many times, there is a thread which gives you a complete step by step breakdown of how to change it.
