dose this sound like impending ird faliure

hi all i have a 2001 td4 all is good except that i have qwite a loud whine coming from the drivers footwell at around 20-30 mph sounds like the clutch on an old mini then it changes to a bearing sound at around 35 then dissapears compleatly had prop bearings chaned in jully they wouldnt be shafted again allready would they any guidence is greatly appreiceated

Does it do it at 30mph in gear, in neutral, in neutral with clutch pressed?

also dose it when engine is switched off and clutch depressed or not had a look underneath and to me it looks like the rear bearnin is not straight and if i pull the propshaft there seems to be 3-4 mm play theres also a washer that seems to just floating around doing nothing in front of the rear vcu bearing is that normal
 
doesnt sound too normal to me ...............
are the bolts holding the prop shaft to the VCU (inside the yolk) nice and tight ???
 
After reading this post, it sounds like i could have the same problem.
only thing is there is no noise in reverse.
is this the bearings or IRD.
 
Then i will replace them any way and rule it out. if the bearings are at fault, then
the freelander will be A1
