Diagnostic Plug

Can someone please tell me (without being rude) where the diagnostic lead plugs in on my W reg diesel

passenger footwell near the centre console

can you please be more specific? thank you.would like to know also.

On the bulkhead floor to the passenger side of the centre console, more to the upper part of the footwell.

I don't think a W reg diesel has one, does it?
I could be wrong but I thought only the later diesels had them.
Would be good to know different...

mine is a W reg Freelander Xedi and it does have one

Does anyone know which fault code readers are compatible with the XEDi Freelanders (Yes, that's pre OBDII) NOT TD4

Other than test book, somebody mentioned a T300. Anyone know what that is or any other solution that does'nt involve going to a dealer just to find out what fault codes are present.
