Went on a road trip to Dunedin back in Feb. On our way we stopped off at a place called "Olive Grove" - a backpackers, camp site, organic gardens and much more, highland cattle etc etc. A really beautiful idyllic place on a lovely river - A right little slice of paradise.
Spoke to the owner. He was a really nice fella as well. Chatted to him for a while about the place, how the his kids had grown up there etc. His wife was sitting in the sun reading a book while I was chatting to him.
They owned a nice Freelander, and I took a snap of mine parked up next to it...

The whole make up of the place was the perfect family living in the perfect setting! I missed it at the time 2 months later, but just been told about this...

Evidently he murdered his wife, then took off in the Freelander down SH1 and drove head on into a lorry!
