Dash pod

Hi All
Can anyone confirm if the FL1 Face-Lift dash Pod(2004 onwards) fits a Pre Face lift? (2002)

May have to change the Steering Column shroud, but otherwise looks the same?
More to do with the electrical connections...........

Dials look brighter and easier to read?

Err it will fit but it won't work.......

The face lifted fl1 uses canbus communication. So it would be like plugging a modern computer into a spectrum tape drive........

The 2002 instrument cluster is also connected via CANBUS. If its plug and play i dont know. If everything except milage does work its enough to reprogram the VIN code in the instrument cluster EEPROM.

Sounds like a non-starter, will go back to looking at using brighter bulbs in the pod
