Cam timing help

My brother has got a 2001 freelander 1.8 and the head gasket has failed, he has stripped it down and we sent the head away for skimming. The engineering firm stripped the cams and now i need to reset the timing, we are not sure which cam went where so i am now at a loss as to how to re set the timing can anyone help?

Thats what i need to check how do i set the two cam sprokets after a complete strip down of both cam shafts?

All covered in the Haynes Manuwell and in the RAVE - free to download - many download links posted on here.
The cams are different and both sets of documentation show you where they go.
You need to look at the piccies and get the cam pins set right and work from there.
