hiya

im in the middle of doing the same myself, its not what i would call a hard job but time consuming

ive got to replace from the abs unit to the rear brake drums

if u dont mind me saying you will need 2 x rolls of 3/16 copper tube, decent flaring tool and practice first, get a small deburing tool, ive also bought new rear hoses and some new brake bleed nipples

if u use a hacksaw make sure u get all the rough bits off the ends, i got a mini cutter but dont screw it down too hard as it will then squash the ends of the pipe, blow out the brake lines after u have deburred them as u dont want any flakes of copper follings going around

also will need a 11 mm brake lime spanner, soak ur bleed nipples as well, ive bought new ones and when u out them back in use a smear of coppaslip on the threads

ive managed to get it in one length without joins from the abs unit to the rear drivers side,

where it goes through the engine mount make sure the copper doesnt touch any steel etc due to electrolysis so put a bit of sleeving over it

remove the lines first, then thread the drivers side in first, really need a pair of hands, just take ur time so u dont kink it,

need some small benders as well, i made sure i had everything first including buying 5 litres of brake fluid so i can bleed out all the old fluid and replace it with new

i agree i think i will have to replace it in sections and will let u know how i get in

its nots a five min job and allow at least an entire weekend , like me my son is doing it for me and weve never done it before

will once finished write out a list of what we used

hope that may help abit

gary

I join the passenger side at the RHR of the vehicle and then just behind the subframe, the divers side pipe I join just behind the subframe, it helps if you lossen the subframebolts on the r/h side if the vehicles on a lift, and when I do it I bend the new pipe and tape it to the old one as I go so hopefully I end up with a replica to fit, however as long as it goes from one end to the other and doesn't catch then it should be fine.
