Brake light issues

I have a rather strange problem with my brake lights.

I had a new brake light switch fitted as my brake lights were not working.

Ive just noticed that when i press the brake pedal, the left hand fog light comes on, the right hand fog light comes on dimly, and the brake light on the spare wheel comes on. the two lights on the back wings, which i thought was the brake lights (under the reverse lights) dont come on at all.

any ideas what could be going on?!

The two clusters in the bumper are tail light/indicator and stop lights. The higher clusters are fog and reverse.
As for the one thats coming on only dim.....bad earth or crap on either lamp contact or board plug.

ya sounds like bad earth or have u bean in deep water lately

Havent been in that deep water as far as I can recall. I'll take the lense off and have a butchers. It seems a little of to me that the brake lights are in the bumper, I'd have put the brake lights where the fog lights are if I'd have designed it!

Some people have "redesigned" their car that way, there must be a thread somewhere about this.
