Hi, I've got a 2011 SD4 Freelander Auto with 23k on the clock.
A few months ago I noticed that when pulling away that there was a single beep coming from the back of the car. The beep is the same tone as the rear Parking sensor beep but much quieter (probably about 50% or so quieter). I must add that the beep comes on with no objects within range of the PDC. Unfortunately the beep is also intermittent and doesn't happen all the time.
The car has been plugged in and there are no fault codes and the PDC works perfectly fine when parking. The sensors have been checked and they are all ok and all software has been updated.
I had asked LR to replace the PDC module but the LR dealership have said they won't replace anything under the warranty until a fault is found and the "fault finding" has to be underwritten by me until such time that they find the fault.
Anyone have any ideas or thoughts on the problem and or how to deal with LR.
I bought the car a year ago tomorrow, my first LR and now regretting it.
