Hi guys and gals,

Bit odd.... I swapped the air con tensioner pulley for a new one couple of days back and now the air con won't work. I haven't knocked the cable and it's belt is on and tight.

I'm not hearing a click from the compressor when I switch it on and there is no dip in the revs I guess because the pulley isn't engaging

Any thoughts on what I broke now lol

I haven't checked the fuse lol.... Belt can only turn one way as it's on the crank pully and I'm still going forward when in first so the engine is running backwards 😉

Ok so checked the fuses I can find that are relevant to the aircon and also the r7 relay under the bonnet swapped this with the r7 horn one and the horn worked fine with the aircon relay
Soooo are there any other fuses in the cab that I can check as the ones in the glove compartment don't seem to have an aircon symbol

Reading up on a couple of older posts and it can be caused by low pressure in the system stopping the compressor from kicking in when switched on solid going for a re gas as this can be the only issue I think

may be I did answer wrong on this one but some people can put the belt on so some things run the opposite way , with air con you must run it at least 10 minutes every week or the gas does deplete best way is to have some one switch it on while you look at the pully through the drivers side wheel arch just pull the plastic protector up.

Yeah the clutch isn't spinning when switched on its going for a re gas my mate works in the trade so it's free lol fingers crossed that's all that's wrong

on the air con pipes just where they go into the car on the bulk head there is a connection I have known that connection to come loose if it is better to put new rubber seals in .
