I've had a search on tinterweb, but don't seem to find much. Has anybody on here fitted or know of a steering wheel boss for the hippo.

Many thanks.

Unless I am mistaken nothing on that link is a steering boss kit. Only quick release and spacers.

I was looking into this myself previously and couldn't find anything listed. But I should think that a rover 200/400, 25/45 or a 75 boss kit would fit I just havnt had chance to try a different wheel in the scrappies!

Yeah, mine is a sparco wheel, but as said in zdomz post, they don't actually list a boss kit. Has anybody tried fitting wheel of mg or rover?!

Looked in to this a while back for my rally Freelander but drew a blank.Asked around a few "racing accessory " shops who also drew a blank.

Those are just quick release to fit an appropriate boss for the vehicle. Not the actual boss itself. Machining a one off could be spendy.

I'll try my contact with the M-Sport Freelander as he ditched the Ford Focus set up (the M-Sports mimicked the Ford Focus steering and driving position) and I'm sure he said what he had was from an older MG.

Been reading up the mini, mgf, mgtf, zr, rover 200 and rover 25 all use the same basic wheel but the zs and rover 400 is slightly different in regards to the self canceller on the wheel being 90 degrees out.

So that means we have loads of options...... :D

Well I plain forget I these pics. This is the M-Sport that's had the Ford Focus set-up removed for the MG boss.

I had a feeling the MG steering wheels would fit as I have a mate who put Freelander stalks in his MGF with no mods necessary!

Talking of steering wheels, has anyone got a black leather one they want to move on? I have a worn cream leather one with a tacky halfrauds cover on it at the moment!

Hi Guys,
Well I can confirm an MGF boss adaptor fits!
I have just bought a boss adaptor for an "MGF MGTF - 1995-2005", and it fits on a Freelander column 1997-2003.
Happy days!

Cheers.
Ian
