Hello all , thinking of replacing my td4 s clutch master cylinder with one from famous four at £55 +vat , any one else fitted this part , is it ok for the price or not !

I got it & local mechanic fitted it.

To be honest I have to bleed my clutch on average once every 5 weeks since I got it fitted. The old master lasted a week once bled.

However, I do have a feeling that air could be getting in through my bleed nipple now, its very loose at the connection. It might also be my slave but I can't afford to replace my clutch at the moment i wont just replace the slave and its too big a job for me to do.

do you know what make the aftermarket one is?
I would be wary if it were a cheap chinese copy

i had one from LRDirect (i think) at roughly that price and it turned out to be a AP Lockheed, which is an established hydraulic manufacturer.
