Great I like the look of those, just need to convince the my good lady that we need some spot lights. :).

Just for curiosity, where do you route the wires from the spotlight with them being on the roof to inside the car?

I ran the wires down the side of the windscreen ( there is a small recess) and using four core cable and held in place with black insulation tape, then under the trim at the corner of the scuttle panel and through the bulkhead panel to the battery.

Can probably get them through the sunroof rubbers or maybe the aerial, more than likely the sunroof though!

I had a bit play with the G4 bar I have on Friday, and got very very p'd off with it. Seems for some reason the mounting brackets don't line up with the seams... and when I say don't line up, they're not even close, distance is fine, but about 15 degrees out on each side (front's match, but the rear mounting bolt is kicked out on both sides)

Surely LR tolerances weren't that bad? They're made from pressed panels and spot welded after all!!

Oh and I snapped/cracked a seam tightening one of the brackets on too, wasn't even nipped up either. I do recall the guy I bought it off saying he did the same, didn't realise how easy it would happen though. Might need to revisit the drawing board here and alter the design a little bit and prototype it again. (G4 bracketry, but with my original plan of mounting to the tube & tube shape)

I would be interested in that "faulty and badly designed/made" original G4 bar............

Haha, if the rain stops later I'll have another go at fitting it and take some photos this time (was in a rush last week)
