Hello all,
Those of you with the fancy wheels and expensive tyres, I have just had fitted 4 of Marshal 225/55R17 97H Road Venture APT KL51 at just over £90 a tyre. Ordered online througn TYRESAVINGS.COM and fitted at your local Halfords. You don't pay until it is all done. This includes new valves and balancing plus getting rid of the old. Had 4 Michelin on before, 2 fronts had nearly worn out but the rears had some tread but had aged out. All were 6 years plus and had done 50K. Hopefully these will wear / age out at about the same time. Very smooth and quiet on the road, hopefully they will be useful with the caravan and trailer on slippy or muddy grass. Time will tell but at that price for a brand from Kumho I was willing to give them a try.

funny you should say about aged out on the michelin's mine are like that but stratstones did not think so i do not think i will be going back there for another car, pity because the staff were very nice, just the company did not think the car was unroadworthy with tyres that had cracks in them and 2 cheap imports on the back. They were the cheapest bit of china's export availble and they are directional as well and also just ordinary car tyres called sunny so next week I am looking around for some decent ones 225/55/17 wish I had kept my old wheels and tyres nearly new alround wranglers I must be stupid
