hope u don't mind me saying but have a look on here about the egr bypass kit and also doing the bmw crankcase filter conversion, well worth doing

I've got a 2002 td4 auto and when I got mine went through the whole car, a good full service, also replacing the oil in the engine, autobox, ird and diff, checked the tyres to make sure they were all the same make, size and pressure etc

plenty of info on here but if u get stuck there's plenty of us here to help u

where abouts in the UK are u if u don't mind me asking
