Default 2002 freelander 1.8 k series

Hi ALL

I have had the battery off my freelander for a week or so now its reinstated the engine turns over but just wont fire.

the spark plugs wont spark
the fuel pump wont run

any ideas if this could be the immobiliser and how do i reset it? I have the teardrop type key and seperate remote fob.

try pressing the lock button 6 times

lock it then unlock it, should now start, simples.

tryed both suggestions car locks and unlocks ok engine turns over but still wont start. Any ideas?

Press the fuel cut off button under the bonnet, on the bulkhead
