01 Td4 Interior light?

Hi all,
I've had the headlining out for recovering and I've noticed a unused connector and i'm curious to found out what it is for (if anything already find loads of unused connectors that seem only for aesthetical purposes...) but nonetheless at the front interior dome light I have one black connector for the dome light and a white connector not doing anything and with nothing anywhere near it? My first thoughts were it must be for my hair straighteners but sadly it they don't fit So any other idea's or is it more of the hippos charm?
