Your Fuel cleaner thoughts....

Hi All I was after your thoughts on this as I have been advised by a garage to put some sort of cleaner (cant remember the name) into the fuel to clean the injectors etc.

I have a 96 300TDI but im not sure if its going to do more harm than good.

Was it called redex?

I've put that in before and not really noticed much difference but my view was it couldn't hurt to try.

At risk of appearing foolish - I put some Comma stuff in just after I bought mine and "felt" that the engine ran a little smoother.
I will buy some more at some point.

There, I've said it!

A good speedy blast on a motorway may do the same thing though.
