Window issue

Iv stripped my door card off to sort out a window issues and the regulator is all bent up and knackered , so removed it but the metal strip that is fixed to the glass us rusted and snapped off at the ends , is it possible to get replacements to refit on the glass and bolt to the window reg?

Anybody know the proper part name of the metal strip attached to the glass?

Perhaps u should give the disco model year and which door your talking about for a quicker response to your question.

But from VIN MA for the front door u will find that 'channel-front door glass' is or was ALR8022 and the same with the rubber ALR8990.

Evening and thanks it is indeed the front drivers door that I'm referring to its a 96 disco xs 300 tdi in Oxford blue

Ok the the above part numbers are correct for your vehicle, what ever the colour.
