Hi All,

Dont worry I still love my Discovery, wouldnt trade it for the world, but a couple of weeks ago when running on petrol she was missfiring, loosing power and making a popping noise between 1000 and 2000 revs, but when running on lpg she ran fine with no problems at all..

After we changed the fuel filter and checked every single part of the fuel system and checked the fuel pressure we disconnected the MAF sensor and it ran like a dream on both lpg and petrol.

I thaught the problem was solved the mass air flow sensor was faulty. So I ran the Disco for a week with the MAF sensor unplugged until my new one came. It come today so I fitted it plugged her in, fired up the engine and its just the same as it was before.

SO

I have cleaned the old one up with some throttle cleaner and put it back in, might as well as return the new one and get my money back.

The only thing left to try now is the lamda (oxygen) sensors. Unless anyone has any other idea's, any would be most welcome.

Thanks

John
