hi, could someone please tell me what the warning light is thats a picture of the disco with arrows pointing up and down? also how expensive will it be to fix? lol cheers

Assuming it is a disco2, it sounds very much like the self levelling suspension light?

Depends on what is wrong(could be if it's the compressor).....check fusible link FL9 in the engine bay fusebox first.....I presume the car stays on level doesnt it...if u have the possibility plug in a tester and u'll be pointed to the fault.
